A Message from Curtis Richardson:

I have been a resident of Tallahassee for over forty years having moved here to attend Florida State University. I’ve called Tallahassee home since then and have worked here, married my beautiful wife and raised two lovely daughters. I have dedicated the majority of my adult life to leading and serving this community to make Tallahassee be the “All America” city that she is.

I was first elected to the City Commission in 2014 and my goal during this time has been to ensure that the city grows responsibly and at the same time preserve what is important to us such as our neighborhoods, the environment, cultural offerings and quality city services. The commission’s goals have been to ensure public safety, grow our economy, provide for low-income and workforce housing and maintain and expand the city’s infrastructure. I am also committed to working to improve the quality of life of residents wherever they live in our city. I have always served with integrity, morality and strong ethics and promise to continue to do so.

If given the opportunity to serve another term on the commission I promise to communicate with my constituents, work with the Mayor and my colleagues on the Commission, and support the community at large to make Tallahassee a city we can all be proud of. I ask for your support of my re-election to the City Commission, Seat 2.
