Pending voter approval in November, Leon County is aiming to create a tax-funded Children's Services Council.
Initially proposed in 1990 by then-County Commissioner John Dailey, the idea of Children's Services Council was recently brought up again in March 2018 by John Dailey as the Mayor of Tallahassee.
